KAREN LUU
CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT
Karen Luu is a Dance Medicine & Sports Performance Specialist in her final year of chiropractic school, blending over a decade of rehabilitation experience with a professor-trained eye for movement. With a B.S. in Kinesiology, a B.F.A. in Dance, a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Professional Certificate, and certifications as both a pointe shoe fitter and cupping therapist, Karen understands biomechanics and anatomy from the ground up, literally. A former adjunct professor at San Francisco State University, she has taught injury prevention, biomechanics, and functional strength to the next generation of movers while continuing to work hands on with athletes and dancers at all levels.
Her sharp ability to assess movement mechanics allows her to pinpoint inefficiencies, correct imbalances, and design recovery and performance programs that bridge science and artistry. Skilled in advanced recovery techniques including shockwave therapy, HBOT, red light therapy, IASTM, scraping, and performance stretching, Karen specializes in helping athletes return stronger, dancers refine their craft, and every patient unlock their highest performance potential.
